Following one of the best (and sweetest) sugar cane harvests in Venezuelan history, Diplomatico decided to release a single vintage rum from the year 2000. This exceptional rum was distilled in a combination of old copper pot stills and a batch kettle, then aged for 12 years in bourbon and single malt whisky casks before being finished in sherry wood.
