100cl / 56.7% / Distillery Bottling - A very special edition Glenmorangie and one of the oldest whiskies they have on the market. Finished in Sauternes casks from Chateau d'Yquem, master distiller Dr Bill Lumsden describes the whisky as a 'pinnacle' of their boundary pushing efforts. Its ornate wooden box, which lowers the round bottomed decanter as it opens, has caused some discussion in the whisky community, but the quality of the liquid seems to hold up to scrutiny.
