The accident which happened back in 1999 when mistakenly some Glenmorangie 21 Year old casks got mixed together at a ratio of 80% Glenmorangie & 20% of something else at the bottling plant when no one was paying attention, hence the name 80:20. The label artwork is also pretty cool and is actually a scannable barcode
