Another fantastic invention from the workbench of Balvenie Malt Master David Stewart - a 17 year old version of the best selling DoubleWood. Still initially matured in'Whisky Oak' casks before being switched to sherry wood to finish, the extra years give it extra depth without being overpowering.

    “It is a really nice whisky. I like it a lot... but now that none is reading this... I really prefer the old 12 years old Doublewood”
    This dram has a amber-like color.

    Nose (90): more than average. honey, tobacco, spices, vanilla, citrus, tropical fruits, nuts.

    Taste (89): powerful, oily. honey, wood, spices, citrus, tobacco, vanilla.

    Finish (89): longer than average. honey, spices, wood, tobacco.
