Bunnahabhain 12 years old Tasting note

By Miguel in Tasting , Bunnahabhain
87
Bunnahabhain 12 year
A very lightly-peated malt that serves as perhaps the mildest introduction to the Islay style.

Bunnahabhain is a single malt where floral and fruity tones dominate with the peat influence in the background. The main base for the splendid 'Black Bottle' blend.

This dram has a white-like color.

Nose (88): inexistent. sweet, floral, marine, sea. First nosing data is innacurate as the previous tasting sheet lacked of this field.

Palate (88): . sweet, peat, earth, fruity, salt, tomato and iodine. Bouquet data is innacurate as the previous tasting sheet lacked of this field.

Finish (84): no finish. fruity, peat. Finish length is innacurate as the previous tasting sheet lacked of this field.

So based on other whiskies I have already tasted I rate this Bunnahabhain 12 year with 87 points over 100.
