Bruichladdich Waves Tasting note

Bruichladdich Waves
Only moderately peated (15ppm phenol), but a consistent influence. Quite fresh: reminds me of a walk around a traditional distillery, with notes of steeping barley, kiln smoke, and youthful spirit. A subtle, intriguing thread of gin botanicals (especially citrus peel) weaves its way through the palate. A bit too youthful. Otherwise, the smoke and fruit keep your attention.

This dram has a white-like color.

Nose (92): inexistent. sweet, plums, strawberries, wood, peat, marine, honey, biscuits. First nosing data is innacurate as the previous tasting sheet lacked of this field.

Palate (88): . sweet, peat, earth, wood, peat, floral, honey, iodine. Bouquet data is innacurate as the previous tasting sheet lacked of this field.

Finish (88): no finish. peat and many iodine. Finish length is innacurate as the previous tasting sheet lacked of this field.

So based on other whiskies I have already tasted I rate this Bruichladdich Waves with 89 points over 100.
