Clynelish 14 years old Tasting note

By Miguel in Tasting , Clynelish

Clynelish 14 year
The successor to the now-silent Brora, built opposite the original distillery and producing a top-quality rich, smoky dram. One of the best entry-level proprietary bottlings available from any distillery.

This dram has a gold-like color.

Nose (91): more than average. sweet, banana, honey, vanilla, wood.

Palate (89): dry, oily, powerful. malt, floral, honey, wood.

Finish (88): long. floral, vanilla.

So based on other whiskies I have already tasted I rate this Clynelish 14 year with 89 points over 100.
