Millstone 8 years old French Oak Tasting note

By Miguel in Tasting , Zuidan

“Beautiful dutch whisky. Slightly light but a great finish on mouth. Like!”

Millstone 8 year French Oak
The Zuidam distillery in the Netherlands has unique stills with a very high surface contact area due to their size. This was matured in French Oak casks.

This dram has a gold-like color.

Nose (86): more than average. honey, malt, spices, vanilla, citrus, floral.

Palate (85): light, smooth. honey, floral, spices, apples, wood, vanilla.

Finish (87): longer than average. honey, floral, spices, vanilla.

So based on other whiskies I have already tasted I rate this Millstone 8 year French Oak with 86 points over 100.
